THE NATURE OF THE COURSE
A lot of emphasis is placed on listening and speaking skills. This involves practicing phrases, collectively as well as individually. Interactive participation in class is important.
The grammar that is done makes it possible for you to create your own sentences. (The grammar gives you insight into how this foreign language was put together and how it functions – it is radically different from Afr. and Eng!)
There are no written tests or exams, but self-work assignments (homework) are given which course participants must do. The answers will be provided the following week.
This is an intensive and comprehensive course!! In order to get maximum benefit from the course, course participants must be prepared to work hard themselves! For every 1 hour of lesson time I spend with you, you must be prepared to put in 2 hours of self-study!
